Summer

Summer is one of the many huskies that we rescued from a hoarding situation. They were living in filth and had to fight for the small amounts of food that were thrown to them. The dogs have had little or no social engagement with humans and know nothing about a routine, living in a house or walking on lead. They all need patient experienced owners who are ready for sleepless nights, chewing and escapism.

Summer is a sweet but nervous girl starting to walk with encouragement. She is scared of cars. ATM she is only walking a few steps with treats and then needs to take everything in. Walkers say: “She warmed up over time and was treat driven”, “Food motivated for walking. Very sporadic in wanting to walk.  Lots of breaks and food to get her walking” She has a poor coat and fly bitten ears. She weighs 11.4kg.
