Roxie is a lively happy girl who loves to play with other young dogs. She is smart and has a bright cheeky nature. Roxie came from the pound with skin lesions on her ears and her head and she always hid under blankets, perhaps from pain associated with her ears.
We ruled out ringworm and we took biopsies of her skin. Results showed she has an autoimmune disease and may need to remain on a low dose of steroids for life. She is doing well on this. She has blossomed into a lively little girl who loves playing with young small dogs and no longer hides. She is obedient to basic commands and is easy to handle and cuddle. Being a teenager, she is still in the chewy stage of her life.
She is looking for a home with a diligent family who will look after her medical needs. She has a short coat and weighs 3.2kg.
