Nova is one of the smaller huskies who is already walking well on lead. She is quite confident and enjoys human attention. She walks on loose lead with encouragement. Nova is child tolerant. Our trainer says "She is tolerant of kids but does not seek them out. Sudden movements and noises frighten her. She is very treat motivated and good for training to be more confident". Walkers say: “Nova is a beautiful girl and gives you lots of licks while being cuddled. Loved her walk and only stopped to lie in shade as it was hot. Very sweet lovely girl” “Very energetic, responsive to name. Likes running and lots of zoomies. Very obedient”, “Beautiful dog! So easy and amazing temperament”. She weighs 16.2kg and has a seasonally shedding coat that needs regular brushing.
Nova is one of the many huskies that we rescued from a hoarding situation. They were living in filth and had to fight for the small amounts of food that were thrown to them. The dogs have had little or no social engagement with humans and knew nothing about a routine, living in a house or walking on lead. They all need patient experienced owners.
