Nikita is a very affectionate girl and again much calmer offsite than onsite. She ignores dogs and happily wags her tail offsite and just looks so full of joy. At the shelter Nikita is terrified of cars and trucks that come down the road and they are so close and she doesn’t have the footpath of anything in between her and the cars. Offsite if the road is busy or no footpath she is also reactive to cars but she is so much happier on less busy streets with footpaths or in calmer environments like the beach or bushwalking where there are no cars.
Nikita is a sweet but nervous insecure dog who needs and experienced family. She is very stressed at the shelter. Nikita is keen to walk and walks on loose lead. She is reactive to cars but ignores most dogs. She enjoys pats and belly rubs. On site walkers say: "the sweetest loveliest dog. "Happy energetic girl, likes to give kisses but does not jump up. She gets hyped up when cars go past but listens if you want to change direction. "“Lovely little pocket rocket. Other dogs didn’t bother her, some cars and vans she would bark and lunge at. She could be settled for most- just a slight jump and easily pulled back” Although she lunges at cars and dogs she is not so strong so it is manageable. She has a smooth coat and weighs 14.5kg.
