Bounty is very sweet gentle girl. She is easy to handle and very food motivated. She was found wandering the streets. She has had some walking problems and x rays revealed she has arthritis in her hips. Apart from this she is in very good health. We have started her on Beranza, a monthly injection to help with the pain as well as zydax injections to improve joint performance. This has made an incredible difference to her. Bounty has also been getting acupuncture to help with the arthritis and also helping her cope with the noisy shelter environment. She does not like being around lots of barking dogs.
Bounty walks on loose lead, is very obedient, jumps in and out of the car, loves her bath and is well behaved in a clinic environment. She would do best in a calm quiet environment. Bounty has just had a tumour removed from her adrenal gland which was causing low potassium levels. She is doing so well post-surgery but would do even better away from a shelter environment. She has a coat with undercoat and weighs 33kg.
