I am a shy girl but have become more comfortable around my foster home. I can do the cutest happy husky dance, when it’s breakfast time!
Alaska is one of our shyer huskies. She is super social with other dogs and also very playful. She follows her doggy friends around but is still nervous of the lead. She does a little dance when her dinner is coming. She is very hand shy so needs a very patient experienced carer. She came in weighing 11.1kg but now is 16.3kg and we are slimming her down a bit.
Alaska is one of the many huskies that we rescued from a hoarding situation. They were living in filth and had to fight for the small amounts of food that were thrown to them. The dogs have had little or no social engagement with humans and know nothing about a routine, living in a house or walking on lead. They all need patient experienced owners who are ready for sleepless nights, chewing and escapism.
