Peyton can be shy when she first meets someone and took a few walks for me to see her super affectionate side. She loves cuddles and will happily just lie on your lap, sit by your side, give you a cuddle and a kiss or be next to you. She has come such a long way in the time we have had her. She walks well on lead and pays attention to the handler. She is nervous of trucks. She is social with dogs but does not like dogs in her face. She is not a fan of female dogs. Walkers say "Listens to instructions and can be distracted with pats and treats" "She now LOVES getting in the car as I’m sure she associates it with her offsite adventures. She walks on a nice loose lead and has no reactively to dogs offsite in fact she wags her tail and looks at them and I think she is wishing she could play with them. Peyton prefers places which aren’t super busy and didn’t seem that excited by the beach but loves bushwalks. Onsite she doesn’t react to any friendly non-reactive dogs and if a dog ignores her she never barks at it however if a dog barks at her she does get scared and barks." She has a short coat and weighs 27.7kg.
