Melody is a super sweet but super shutdown girl who is looking for an experienced handler with a relaxed friendly dog to bring her out of her shell and develop her confidence. She is happiest with another friendly relaxed dog who can be her leader. At the pound she only hid at the back of her kennel in the crouched position, tail tucked and sometimes shaking. She was put on anti-depressants which we have weaned her off. Melody is still very shy but can be led on lead by people she knows. She has been gaining confidence and hanging out with some very happy friendly dogs at the shelter. She has a smooth coat and weighs 25kg.
Rescuing dogs means there is always a lot of work to do.
