Maclary was named after the children's book cartoon character Hairy Maclary. He came in such a matted filthy state you could hardly see where his face was. Maclary was reportedly found in bushland and brought to the pound. Our vets sedated and bathed him. His skin was red and irritated from the matting. The smell of the urine-soaked fur was awful. His shaved coat weighed 1.1kg. He was a different dog when he was clipped and clean. He was full of energy and happiness and his tail does not stop wagging!
Maclary is happy dog who needs to learn some boundaries and get some basic obedience. He has a confident nature. He is SUPER food motivated so quick to learn. He is very clingy with people and would prefer a family where there is someone around most of the time. He is very social with other small dogs. He has a low shedding coat and weighs 10.4kg.
