Gizmo the happiest friendliest boy youāll ever met, but this boy is strong. Definitely needs a family that has a backyard and will walk and play with him daily as he is high energy.Ā He is much better on a long lead and loves to sniff and explore on our bushwalks and by the end of the walk is walking on a loose lead and is a much calmer boy.Ā Gizmo is very smart,Ā heās learnt to sit before getting in the car and is learning manners like to sit and get chest rubs when he sees people instead of jumping up on people.Ā He loves playing fetch, and brings the ball back to you and comes when you call him. Gizmo loves balls, tennis balls, soccer balls, basket balls, he can destroy a soccer ball faster than any dog Iāve ever seen.Ā Ā Gizmo loves the car he sits with his head out the back window in the car and you can tell he is just in heaven. He sits and waits before he gets in the car but can be a bit excited when he first gets in and your try to put his seatbelt.
He is happy anywhere, crowds of people, loud noises or environments, Ā motor bikes, lots of dogs nothing phases this boy he loves the beach, the bushwalks, walking up the road outside the shelter he is just happy to get out and be active.Ā Also loves to play fetch in the dog park. Walkers say: āGizmo is such a happy high spirited boy.Ā He is so affectionate and loves pats.Ā He was better when it came to pulling on the lead compared to last time I walked himā "He wags his tail at every dog and person who walks past and loves pats and belly rubs from everyone.Ā His favourite game is fetch, he loves to run and walk.Ā Loves bushwalking and needs an active family as he is full of energy and love!"
Gizmo has had a number of homes that we know of. He was sold free on Gumtree to a person who kept him one day and tipped him into the pound the next. He had lived with small children but was too exuberant. He would suit an active sporty family. He has a short coat and weighs 35kg.
