Cooper is a gentle withdrawn boy who had sustained some substantial injuries before entering the pound. These have healed, only the scars remain. He is a sweet gentle dog who needs to have some encouragement and TLC. He is a little shy to walk on lead and walks slowly. He is tolerant of children but does not actively want to engage with them. Out walking he is scared of cars and ignored dogs. He is very cautious. He enjoys a cuddle and pats. Cooper has compression in some of his neck discs. He is on pain management and he is very stable. Unfortunately there is no surgical options. Volunteers say “Cooper is adorable”, “When Cooper walked he had a lovely pace. Big, gentle boy. He was very cautious”. He has a short coat and weighs 36.2kg.
