Blaze such a human oriented husky! He is more tolerant of handling and touching than most I have seen. Blaze came to us when his owner wanted to put him down. He came in with a big plate protruding through the flesh of his front leg. It appears he has been living with this for many, many months and his body was conditioned to the pain. We have taken him to a specialist surgeon and Blaze had the plate and screws removed and recovered well. The day after surgery he wanted to run around. I was so surprised he was not even limping.
He wound has totally healed now! He is an amazing happy dog who enjoys walks, splashing through water and lots of human company. He is social with other friendly medium sized dogs but is not suitable around cats or pocket pets due to his prey drive which is typical of his breed. He has a coat that sheds and needs a lot of brushing and he weighs around 18kg.
