Betty came from the pound emaciated and struggling to walk. She has a lot of hair loss over her spine and tail base and has thickened elbows and stifles and muscle wastage. She came in weighing 14.4kg.
Betty is on meals 2x daily and oatmeal shampoo and conditioner to improve her skin as well as Antinol and Zydax injections to help with joint issues. We have also started her on weekly acupuncture to help with these issues as well. She is tolerating this really well and has become stronger. She has just had a dental with 9 extractions!
She has put on weight and enjoying short walks in the garden. The rest of the time she lies on her bed as close to humans as possible. She is looking for a family wanting a low energy dog to enjoy her twilight years. She currently weighs 18.5kg.
