Mabel and Fred are a very sweet couple who are very bonded. It appears they have been used for breeding before being dumped at the pound. They are gentle dogs but have not had a lot of affection bestowed on them. The are very social with other small dogs but are not used to walking on lead. Being pugs they both have brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) and may need specialist surgery at some stage to help with breathing issues. Fred is worse. They came from the pound with ear and skin infections which are under treatment and improving. They are looking for a home together, preferably with a family who have had pugs before and understand their needs. They have short coats. Madel weighs 9.1kg and Fred 11.2kg and are both overweight.
