Mabel and Fred are a very sweet couple who are very bonded. They are now affectionate and are very responsive to people and they both love a lap to sit in! It appears they have been used for breeding before being dumped at the pound. They are gentle dogs but have not had a lot of affection bestowed on them in the past. They have got used to walking on lead and harness and have been on a diet since arriving at their foster home. They are very social with other small dogs. Being pugs, they both have brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS). They came from the pound overweight and with ear and skin infections which have now cleared. They are looking for a home together, preferably with a family who have had pugs before and understand their needs. They have short coats. Mabel is now a healthy weight of 7.2kg and Fred weighs 8.9kg.
