Nutmeg is the sweetest gentleman. He came from the pound matted to the skin and he could not walk. X rays revealed narrowed vertebral spaces that suggest disc prolapse. He has been resting at our vet clinic for a few weeks since he came in mid June. Early in July he has shown improvement and running around a bit on lead, though still has cage rest apart from toileting. He has a heart murmur but is not needing any medication. Nutmeg is social with other small dogs and is looking for a quiet household with experience with older dogs. He has a fluffy coat and weighs 5.3kg.
